Dr. Raffick Bowen is a Clinical Professor of Pathology and Co-Director of the Clinical Chemistry and Immunology Laboratory at Stanford University Medical Center. Dr. Bowen received his certification in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT similar to MT/MLS/CLS in the United States) from the Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science (CSMLS) and has a license as a Clinical Chemist Specialist from the State of California. He completed his BSc in Medical Laboratory Science (MLS) and Ph.D. focusing on omega-6 and omega-3 fatty acids on brain neuronal and glial cell membrane structure and function with implications to the manufacturing of infant formula's fatty acid composition from the University of Alberta.
