Dr. Shomali is a clinical assistant professor of Hematology at Stanford University School of Medicine. He is board certified in hematology & medical oncology.Dr. Shomali specializes in the treatment of blood cancers such as myeloproliferative neoplasms and myelodysplastic syndromes. He aims to provide compassionate, personalized, and evidence-based care to each patient.Dr. Shomali received his medical degree from the University of Jordan, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center where he studied infections in cancer patients and the role of biomarkers in defining tumor fever. He completed his residency training in Internal Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation where he served as a Chief Medical Resident.
