Dr Muhammad Umair Khawar comes to TriHealth after serving five years as assistant professor in pulmonary and critical care medicine and as associate director for the cystic fibrosis program at the University of Cincinnati. He has extensive clinical and research expertise related to bronchiectasis, cystic fibrosis, interstitial lung diseases, pulmonary vascular disorders, evaluation of lung mass/cancer, advanced chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and complex asthma treatment, including the use of newer biological therapies. Dr Khawar sees adult patients for respiratory system disease and also treats critically ill patients in the intensive care unit.
