Amy Donahue, MLIS, MGCS, Certified Genetic Counselor, joined the Linda T and John A Mellowes Center for Genomic Sciences and Precision Medicine genetic counseling team in June of 2018. Amy has lived across the country from Saranac Lake, NY to Seattle, WA, settling in Milwaukee in 2011. They graduated from Grinnell College (IA) in 2005 with a dual degree in mathematics and Russian language and received their Master of Library & Information Science from the University of Washington in 2007. Amy completed a two-year post graduate fellowship at the National Library of Medicine at the National Institutes of Health and worked as a medical librarian for several years before making the change to direct patient care.
