Debi Lesnick
Debi has been a practicing nurse midwife for 30 years and with North Shore Associates in Gynecology and Obstetrics for 23. She completed her undergraduate work at Barnard College in New York City, University of Florence in Italy, the University of Rochester, and the University of Alabama. She completed her master’s in nursing at the University of Alabama Birmingham. Debi is a Board-certified nurse midwife and maintains membership with the American College of Nurse-Midwives. Debi was drawn to midwifery through personal experience having her first child in Italy, where having a midwife is the norm. She loved the closeness of the relationship she developed with her midwife and the care she received and decided to follow in the same career path. Debi also specializes in working with teens. She lives in Evanston and when not with patients, she volunteers at the Ladies Aide Society, enjoys reading, cooking (especially baking) and spending time with her children and grandchildren.Services
