Chad E Afman, MD, is a fellowship trained pediatric otolaryngologist and is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology—Head and Neck Surgery. Dr Afman earned his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit. He completed his residency in otolaryngology at the University of Cincinnati, and a fellowship in pediatric otolaryngology at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. Dr Afman's clinical interests include all areas of pediatric otolaryngology with particular emphasis on airway reconstruction, dysphagia, Down syndrome and sleep disorders. Dr Afman strives to coordinate care of the aerodigestive system with other pediatric specialties and programs at Helen DeVos Children's Hospital.
