Whitney Hensing, MD, is a fellowship-trained and board-certified hematology oncologist. Dr Hensing develops a personalized plan to fit each patient’s specific breast cancer, medical history, and treatment goals. During her fellowship at Washington University and Siteman Cancer Center, Dr Hensing developed a multicenter phase 1 clinical trial using a unique drug combination in patients with HER2 altered tumors. She was awarded the Young Investigator Award in breast cancer disparities research from the ASCO Conquer Cancer Foundation. Dr Hensing’s clinical interests include clinical trials and developing new targeted therapies for patients with breast cancer.
