Andrew T Guidry, MD, was the Berman Brain & Spine Institute's first Sports Neurology Fellow, and upon completion of the 2-year fellowship program, he joined the team at LifeBridge Health's Sports Medicine Institute. Dr Guidry graduated from Duke University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in biology and psychology, with a concentration in neuroscience, and where he played the position of center and long snapper for all 4 years on the Duke University varsity football team. After earning a medical degree from the Joan C Edwards School of Medicine at Marshall University, Dr Guidry completed a neurology residency in the highly respected program at Emory University School of Medicine.
