My areas of interest include bariatric (weight loss surgery), foregut, and general surgery procedures including gallbladder, appendix, colon, hernias, anti-reflux surgery, paraesophageal hernias, gastric sleeve, gastric bypass, etc. I use minimally invasive techniques using laparoscopy and/or robotics as I find the recovery after these procedures is shorter and cause less pain for my patients than open surgery.I am a proponent of bariatric surgery, and really believe patients can take control of their health and achieve their weight loss goals.
