Sarah Evans Norris, MD, MEd, is Director of the Quality in Life Team and Director of Pediatric Palliative Care at Children?s Hospital at Montefiore. She is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and of Neurology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr Norris earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Loyola University Chicago in 1993 receiving the Gladys Kinnery Clinical Excellence award. As a nurse she worked around the globe including as a Peace Corps volunteer in Morocco before pursuing medical school at the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara in Mexico. She completed the Fifth Pathway Program through New York Medical College and embarked on her pediatrics internship at the University of Medicine & Dentistry New Jersey.
