Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare: I chose to pursue a career in medicine because it offers so many opportunities to meet the needs of people of all ages - physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. What I want my patients to know about me: Patients should expect that I will see them as individuals with the focus on them - not on a computer. They can expect that I will take time to listen and will work with them with compassion and empathy to find solutions to their needs. What I do when I'm not seeing patients: On days when I am not scheduled to work, I enjoy spending time with my children and grandchildren.
