Thomas Heffron MD, FACS, is a liver transplant specialist and is certified in Da Vinci Robot and Histotripsy for patients pediatric to adult. Dr Heffron was a member of the first team in the world to perform a successful series of living donor liver transplantations at the University of Chicago. He continues to be involved in new aspects of liver surgery and enjoys seeing patients resume a full and healthy life after surgery. Dr Heffron gives much credit to his patients' success to the great teams that help make life-changing surgery happen.
