Fascinated by the power of the human body, Dr. Lauren was motivated to pursue a career in the healing arts. Dr. Lauren received a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Sport Sciences and gained experience in the healthcare field as a Cardiac Stress Testing and Rehabilitation Intern at Texas Tech University Medical Center Heart Hospital and as an American College of Sports Medicine Exercise Specialist at Wellness Today/Physical Therapy Today in Lubbock, TX. While interning in the medical field she witnessed the abilities and limitations of our current healthcare system. Frustrations with an increasingly drug-ridden, yet unhealthy society, led her to pursue a career in natural healthcare.
Dr. Lauren recieved her doctorate from Parker University College of Chiropractic in Dallas, TX. She is certified in the Bio-Energetic Synchronization Technique (B.E.S.T.), a neuro-emotional balancing and retiming procedure. Dr. Lauren is currently completing studies with the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association and is certified in Webster Technique, a specific analysis and chiropractic adjustment that is proven to remove constraint in the uterus and allows the baby to assume the best possible position for a less traumatic birth. Her post-graduate studies include pediatric and prenatal chiropractic, nutrition, B.E.S.T, and brain balancing techniques & exercises. She has past experience working with children with physical, mental, and emotional special needs through Girl Scouts of America, Lubbock ISD Adapted Physical Education Programs, and the YMCA after-school program for children with special needs. She has worked with patients as young as 2 days old to 98 years old and is excited about helping improve the health of families in Northwest Arkansas.
