They are always polite and never use foul language, which I really appreciate. It's always made me uncomfortable at other places when I've heard them use foul language, but they don't here. I know I can bring my kids, and not worry about it. As far as boarding facilities go this is one of the better ones that I have seen and I feel confident that the staff takes great care of my pets.They try to make pets feel as safe and comfortable as possible. I have never seen my pets so calm at the veterinarian before. They really seem to have such a gift with animals here. The staff was very helpful no matter how many times I called with a question or concern. They never made me feel uncomfortable for asking any question. My pet hates going to the vet so I was very relieved that I was allowed to stay with my pet throughout the appointment. They really make an effort to make sure that the pets are comfortable and happy at all times, which in turn makes me very happy as well.

Cedar was recommended to me by several friends who are dog lovers. I brought my dog there for a couple of injuries, and Dr. Balok was extremely patient and knowledgeable. After the first time I went there, she remembered me and my dog over a month later. The staff is friendly, and the facilities are clean. They are very clear about the steps they will take to take care of your pet and are completely transparent about costs if you ask. I have not had any trouble making appointments. Because we live about an hour away, one of my friends has brought her dog in on more than one occasion during emergency hours, and the doctors have been more than understanding. I would highly recommend this place to anyone with a pet in the Gallup or surrounding area.

They were so informative, and thoroughly answered every single question I had regarding pet care. I left feeling like I really learned a lot. I have never seen my pets so calm at the veterinarian before. They really seem to have such a gift with animals here. When I had to leave my pet here in overnight care I was so worried but they always called with follow-ups exactly as promised and even called more times than they said they would. They truly care about each of the animals that come into the hospital and treat them as all if they were their own. Dr. Tess expecially has always been willing to explain any details I asked about. I was very comfortable the entire time.

When in Gallup, NM Cedar is the BEST place to go. Any other place (one other place) will over price you and do procedures you did not ask for and charge you for it. Cedar is very personable and professional, they took very good care of my dogs and gave us a discount for rescuing an injured dog! They only charge you what they say your going to be charged.
