I have used Steele Medical Supply Store for many years . John and his family are wonderful and kind , compassionate people and know there business extremely well. No matter what I need they will do everything to accommodate you ASAP! I needed a rail due to falling out of bed . John the owner asked the right questions an Occupational Therapist would or a Physical Therapist. I have had many so I know how to be astute with your safety and care vs. just selling a product! He helped me find the right rail for my bed that is perfect. I also needed a pair of foot rests for a wheelchair and in a move they were lost! I received due to my schedule the rail the next day along with foot rests ! Perfect customer service and care . You can tell they are passionate about there business and most the people they help. I felt John and his brother truly cared about my safety first! I highly recommend Steele after 20 years they always come through with kindness and caring !
I went in for a product and it took weeks to get in. I called again and woman told me they are swamped and they'd have to call me back, I decided to go in and the employees were just talking amongst themselves when I arrived. Backordered was an initial excuse until I talked with a manager who said there shouldn't be an issue. They then said, because of my trouble, they'd deliver to my home, at the latest this day, took another day later. Lastly, said they'd bill my insurance, they did not and the mark up was about $110.00 more. I could have purchased on-line, same product, for 41.00 minus shipping and had a lot sooner and cheaper. Don't bother.
Awesome place to go when you need medical supplies, my family has been long time customers. They always ask about my brother, and they are always willing to go above and beyond when it comes to getting the things that he needs!!!

Steele Healthcare Corporation provided horrible customer service. For a privately owned company, you would think they would want to keep customers since closing two location in Lindenhurst and Waukegan. Their attitude, arrogant demeanor, treating customer like they do not have an opinion or talking them into buying medical equipment they do not need. OMG and don’t misplaced a receipt, It literally take months or never to receive one. They really need employed mentally healthy stable employees.
