Ann Gilmore gave us the gift of a personal, dignified, did I say personal? childbirth experience with both of my children. She was everything I needed her to be - kind, straightforward, experienced and intuitive. I felt safe, supported and heard. I would not change anything. I thank God for her whenever I think back to those two beautiful experiences.
I had both my breech babies with Ann Gilmore as my midwife. I had natural childbirth, and no problems. Today I have a 29 year old son finishing up his DMA, Doctorate in Musical Arts, at U Hart, CT. My daughter is 27, graduated with honors from Widener Law School, and is an Assistant District Attorney. About 9 years ago there was so much talk about prolapsed bladders from childbirth that although I had no symptoms, I asked my GYN if my bladder had fallen at all, and he said absolutely not. Ann is a competent midwife who seems passionate and knowledgable about her profession.
