Dr. Scott is a cowboy in a Hawaiian shirt who knows a TON about how the human muscular and skeletal systems work. He takes time to explain exactly what's going on in your body, where the pain is coming from, and different plans for resolving it.
You want a cortisone shot to get you up and running asap? He'll do that. Want to stay away from injections and steroids? He'll come up with a stretching/icing plan that will fit your needs.

Truly a remarkable doctor. The only drawback is the wait time, as he refuses to rush through patients and will take the time to answer all your questions.

Dr. Scott was extremely helpful with my diagnosis and even evaluated my position on my bike so that I was not injuring my knee while riding. Dr and staff are both great and would recommend them to anyone

The doctor explained all the risks and benefits of my treatment options. Everything was explained in detail, all my questions were answered, and I felt a lot better about choosing a treatment plan. The staff was well-informed. The equipment was appropriate to my needs. It was easy to get an appointment.

Dr. Scott is the best sports medicine physician in the greater Bay Area. People drive quite a distance to see him. He spends a great deal of time with each patient, ensuring the correct diagnosis, a well-designed appropriate treatment/recovery plan, and that the patient fully understands the course of care. Having tried several others for my injury, I can strongly say that Dr. Scott is the best.
