You should be aware before you decide on this rheumy that he is not concerned with the pain that goes along with RA. He is very unsympathetic. I understand his concept of wanting to treat the disease and End the pain. Believe me! I want nothing more! However, when you are trying to hold on to a 9-5 job, you need some relief until he determines what meds will help you. Those of you who deal with RA on a daily basis know exactly what I'm talking about. I would like to find a rheumy that actually has RA. Only then, would they really understand what we go through.
