He completed his preliminary year in Internal Medicine at Jacobi Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine Program in the Bronx, New York, USA. He then completed his Neurology residency at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) in Memphis, Tennessee, USA.
